January 22-29 (Saturday-Saturday) – North Conway, New Hampshire
Arrive and stay as many days as you wish. This is a “make your own reservations” trip. Trip leader is familiar with the area and can offer lodging suggestions. North Conway offers four major cross-country ski centers within thirty minutes of most lodgings.

The group will meet every morning in the lobby or a nearby breakfast location to decide on the day’s skiing and meals.

Snowshoeing available. Tour Bennington shops and museums.
Lodging (Monday and Tuesday overnight) at a motel in Bennington.

February 20-27 (Sunday-Saturday) – Laurentian Ski Week (Val-David, Quebec)
The Laurentian region of Quebec, one hour north of Montreal, is a cross-country ski paradise. Our lodging is within a half-hour’s drive of six full-service cross-country ski centers. Backcountry trails pass right by the lodge. Accommodations at a moderately priced mountain lodge; full breakfasts and dinners served on premises.
Note: Entry into Canada requires two vaccinations and viral test. Trip leader can provide more specifics.

March 19-20 (Saturday-Sunday) Lapland Lake (Benson, New York)
This will be a one-night, make-your-own-reservations trip. Trip leader is familiar with the area and can offer lodging suggestions. We will leave on Saturday the 19th, meeting location and carpools TBD; arrive at Lapland Lake to ski in the afternoon. We will have dinner in town as a group. Depending on where people are staying will determine where we will meet on the morning of the 20th. We will then drive to Lapland to ski on Sunday. Feel free to ski as long as you would like on Sunday. **You will need to provide your own lunches.**

We schedule very few day trips in advance because of the unpredictability of snow conditions. Most day trips are organized on short notice as snow conditions permit through the e-mail listserv “New Jersey Nordic Skiers and Snowshoers” on groups.io. These day trips are initiated by individual members of that group. They are not approved or sponsored by the New Jersey Nordic Ski Club, and all liability rests with the individuals involved.
